where the weekend was spent.

So I thought we won’t go out of town this weekend because mum has not been informing me yet until I got home. I went home to Bulacan at around 10am from makati through ate jo’s car. And the moment I stepped inside the house mum said we’re going to have our Palm Sunday in Manaoag Church.

We left Bulacan at around 4am. And reached Manaoag at around 9am (5 hours travel because we got a little lost along the way and because we’re on convoy my bro can’t speed up). Thanks to the ever fabulous SCTEx because Bulacan to Tarlac is now a little more than an hour away (which used to be 3 hours). Me plus cousins and titos and titas had breakfast at manaoag. Went to Baguio for lunch. Slept. It was raining sooo hard and our mouths were smoking when we speak. Us, the kids, hehe, had a little sight seeing at the Mansion and Mines View Park while the oldies went to the market to buy stuff for dinner. We never forget to eat their infamous steamed and buttered corn. Went singing while waiting for the cars to pick us. With the help of Hannah, I made strawberries and cream for dessert.

The next day had breakfast from last night’s leftovers. Then went down to pangasinan to swim at Binmaley. My uncle’s friend, who lives in that municipality, treated us to lunch with super yummy sinigang na isda (I don’t know what kind of fish was that but yummy), fried espada and kilawin. Perfect! We sang a lot at the videoke! Hehe. Daming nagastos na 5peso coins, geesh. Then played volleyball and soccer at the shore (and I think I got injured). But all in all I looove the trip! (photos are with aira still)

where to spend this weekend

as the ultimate clan planner. im so confused where to spend the upcoming weekend. they (my clan) want to do a lot! shop at S&R, go to Manaoag and yet go swimming after. but S&R is way down south while Manaoag is way up north. so im thinking it has to be either shopping or praising! if shopping will win, we’ll go to Laiya or Calatagan in Batangas. if praising will be chosen, we’ll go to bolinao in Pangasinan. which one is better though??? i hope matuloy!

Bolinao, Pangasinan :)

laiya, batangas :)

in the heat of manila

just got back from my Baguio trip. i sooo miss the cold atmosphere. getting back to the heat of Manila means headache! it was tiring trip though because it meant work and not a vacation. nonetheless, the experience was sooo fun. especially if my fave fruit strawbs are as common as bananas.

anyways, baguio has been sooo different since the first time i went there. its sooo funny that Pat knows Jen. cant wait to ask jen as well. but cant catch her online.

geesh, celle has a new blog now. haha. im gonna check that out in a bit. it was so sad that i wasnt able to see her when she’s in manila. i think i missed out a lot from her. but anyways, im trying my best to keep up.

going bar hop

so, royce and i put up our best efforts to get our sisses names on some bars’ guestlists. they prefer to go to alchemy because of proximity matters. but royce has no connection to that bar. i, having no connections to this matter, decided to follow the big city guide book which Ned has given me last christmas. paying for regular entrance will cost you 500php. so i decided to search the net and put specific tags at google and voila!

anyways, ziaan wasnt there. but we decided not to spoil the evening. we left alchemy at around 1am. got lost at McKinley Hill going to Bureau in Makati, dropped off Cesca at our apartment. Went to Bureau but Guestlist is not valid anymore. don’t want to pay 500…hehehe…so went to fiama instead. ladies’ night. spotted that girl i was with during the Flo shoot. went home at 4am.

result: a whole lotta fun + breakout galore=stop gimmicking for a few weeks. hehehe

weirdly, alchemy used to be a 3 floor bar. pero when we went there, vapor na lang open…tsk.

another rockin weekend

robby and i met at the columns to catch up and see what he has in store for that day. we went straight to fairways condo at the fort and ate lunch at newly opened italian resto Joey Pepperoni. I felt like the waiters were a little bit tensed in that resto. Maybe because of the little delay of our quattro formaggio because the oven won’t work daw. But we actually don’t mind.

After waiting, they gave us pudding (a compliment of the house), then suddenly a pizza 0f four slices which are placed on top of each other making it like two sandwiches were placed on our table. It was kinda strange for me. It was not what i expected for a quattro formaggio because it has sausages and pepperonis. nonetheless, we did not mind.

right after finishing what we ate, there comes our 4 cheeses. we were like “ano yung kinain namin?” and obviusly they delivered it at the wrong table. so they did not include it na lang sa bill. tsk.

we went up to the 21st floor. he showed me his pad. great place for daydreaming. hahaha…then we proceeded to market market where we played lazer extreme. hahaha…

LazerXtreme introduces an exciting fantasy game, allowing players to be the sci-fi hero who they had always wanted to be, in a safe environment.Using laser guns (totally safe), players battle friends or foes within a futuristic, visually exciting, interactive arena where laser beams, pierce the darkness in a pyrotechnic display reminiscent of Star Wars.

Players wearing illuminated Battlesuits and armed with Phaser Guns hide behind protective cover and manoeuvre through Manila’s own space station – shooting all the while.

LazerXtreme is the most advanced computer controlled laser games system in the world and offers a great time for all participants, irrespective of their age or experience.

we had so much fun. err well, i had sooo much fun…hahaha…that until now my legs are in pain due to lack of physical activity and the sudden rush of energy i exerted to the game!

rockin’ weekend

the past weekend was crazy…no sleep and all that….did emergency shopping because i don’t know how i’ll wrap my gift for our exchange gift in the office.

therese and i hit rockwell. it was my plan though, good thing she came with me…of course i went there for the urban bazaar at the rockwell tent…and gawd!!! so many fantabulous items!!! and i blame that for my bankruptcy these days! i got a plaid dress, a hoody and a pair of earings. therese bought a pair of cute red shoes!

and because we spent so much with shopping already we ate at KFC instead of pepper lunch…harhar…that day pepper lunch is kinda expensive for me…and of course the long line is unforgivable for my hunger that day.

while eating at KFC, i saw a long lost hs friend across our table. she changed a bit…okay! a lot. i really can’t specify the changes but…oh well, im really amazed with accidental meetings…you know computing the probability with all given factors. okay, stop being geeky…hahaha
