it was a long time since i went back to the upper east side of makati. i always explore the west side since my friend who lives in alfaro place migrated to new york (but back to the country again). What i love about the east side of Makati is that the facade is relatively newer than that of the west.
i love how majestic One Salcedo Place looks like and how safe you’ll feel in that community. The weekend bazaar showcasing international cuisine in Salcedo Park is a must see for everyone.
There’s this new building there which my friend said looks like a German architecture, like those buildings in Berlin. I didn’t really care. i wouldn’t know the similarities and the difference anyway since i haven’t ever been overseas. we decided to dine at the new restaurant in the Picasso building, it is a newly built building, and included in the Serviced Apartments category just like the Ascott.
Braserie Boheme is a European Restaurant. and for only 390php you’ll get a full meal and combine it based on your own taste. i had mushroom soup, and then steak, and mango crepe plus a glass of wine! the ambiance is very radiant and it felt so grand with all those artworks on the wall. the best time to go there is at 6pm because when dinner time comes closer, the place gets filled up by expats and business executives from the village. and you’ll know it’s authentic because the chef (i guess he’s italian) goeas around to check customers’ reaction.
