subic rape case

this has been on the news this morning. The Court of Appeals acquited Daniel Smith from raping “Nicole”

Apparently, Nicole took her testimonies back and told Smith’s counsel that she thought she wasn’t raped at all. She’s now going to the US to get married. Sigh! How inconsistent she can be. I bet her lawyer, who stood by her when everyone else doesn’t believe her is damn mad at what she did. She left the whole country hanging in the air and with no face to put up to the US.

whatever her reasons for taking her testimonies back are, don’t matter. she just proved that she can’t really can’t stand for what really happened to her. and with that how can one trust her?

my morning ritual

its  only in the morning that i get to catch the news. thanks to the morning show that ABSCBN is running. if not for them ill be undeniably outdated. anyways, it is soooo frustrating that every segment of the news break involves street accidents. Most of the time the drivers are drunk. so it is not surprising why their vehicles will just climb the barriers or be on the opposite lane and cause collissions.

Those irresponsible drivers make the streets scarier than ever. Aside from the possibility of hold-ups if you’ll commute your way going to a certain destination, the danger is still there. i know i’m being paranoid but just last week, when me and my roomates are cooking dinner we heard a lady screaming…we thought it was just some flirty cry. but when it wouldn’t stop, we went out to our balcony and found a girl running after something/someone.

then we just heard from the manongs outside our apartment that 2 men riding a motorcycle snatched the bag of that lady.

sigh!!!
