in pain and grief.

Sheng passed away this morning. I was on my way to office when King texted me the bad news. and i never felt sooo lost in my life. i left without saying goodbye to my roomate. all i know is that i needed to talk to someone who feels the same way. i called up King, and Bang and ziaan. we were all crying on the phone. still cannot believe what happened.

i will always remeber how sheng taught me to become the best of what i can be in everything. her passion for serving and for caring for others inspired me to be the better me that i am now. she made me realize my potentials as an individual. she was the one who brought confidence in what im doing. i will always remember our prod works. i will always remember our musikamalayan days. on how we went about our misunderstandings. on how i cried like a kid when i was talking to her at the tambayan. on how she helped me with soooo many things. i will always remember on how you always understood why i cant attend our meetings. on how you supported my ideas and big events, those roses we put ribbons on. most importantly, i will always long for that unconditional love you gave us. every Sigma Alpha Nuan is sooo proud of what you have done for the sorority and for each of us as individuals. we’re full of fond memories about you sheng. you’ll always be in our hearts.

excess:

thanks to those people who came to makati med to donate blood and to those who prayed for her. we may not know all of you, and you may not know sheng at all but your willingness to help our dearest sis meant a lot for all of us. i soooo thank you. and your support will never be forgotten.

thanks to my ever supportive friends who went out of their way to see me or call me. to those who passed the blood drive campaign, i sooo thank you. we have at least extended sheng’s life.

and finally, to my ever supportive sorority sisters. i couldve never been this strong and cried my whole heart out if none of you were there. it is so nice to see a lot new faces believeing in the same principle. im so glad to have met my fellow alumnae. the unity is overwhelming and indeed moving. im just sooo proud to be a NUan. in this grief, i know i have you to lean on and to talk to, and reminisce the memories we have with sheng. thank you because we were there for each other in very rough time. i sooo love you all.

in need of blood donors and prayers

guys, help!

my sorority sis, sheryl tienzo is at the ICU of Makati Medical Center right now. she is suffering from massive bleeding after giving birth to her fourth child. In fact she was revived for three times already.

Please help. we need type O+ but actually any type will do. we’ll just exchange that with the blood bank. and the doctors can extract platelets from any blood type to make her wound clot. they said that sheryll has been consuming 40 units per day, so we’re really in dire need for blood donors.

For donors, please text or call me at 09152158556 or proceed to the blood bank of Makati Medical Center Annex located at the ground floor.

please put my sis’ name at the patient’s name.

Thank you soo much for those who have helped us and those who will. We highly appreciate your concerns.

manila ocean park

my boss was invited for the gala night of WWF (World Wildlife Fund) last Nov 10. But since he was in Davao, Joy and I attended instead. The event was held at the Manila Ocean Park. I was kinda expecting a lot but i was not as amazed. Good thing the whole thing is free. but the food, courtesy of Ozeano, was great. the view is spectacular from the resto because right outside the floor to ceiling windows are the waters of Manila Bay.

The event was good. WWF has made so many projects which made impact in the world. I even sw AF, whom i havent seen for a very long time there. its just a little bit out of this world for me to be actile like those from USAID, Paolo Cabrera (host of gameplan) and other CEOs of other companies. I felt like I’m the youngest and most naive.

the edge

last friday, Marix brought me to the internet streaming radio station she’s volunteering for. They were having a halloween photoshoot. The people there were very amazing (not to mention: pretty) hahaha…

The Edge Radio plays contemporary Christian music from pop to hip hop to alternative, to praise and gospel songs. It plays music from a wide range of Christian artists of various nationalities and will be supporting local contemporary Christian artists who play music fit to its format.

Anyways, Id like to join Marix in her volunteering…hahaha…not because i wanted to join that pool of prettyness…hahaha…but yeah i wish to make a difference too…
