crazy crazy week

i thought i’m gonna start this week in bad mood. dealing with a heartbreak is not that easy to handle especially when you see a lot of red paper heart cut outs in all establishments you go to. the beach helped me think, have fun, and meet new friends.

my busy sched in the office made me forget about the pain. but at some point, i cant help but think about it. why it ended so fast and he wasn’t even calling!!!

anyways, a lot of meetings with important people filled up my schedule, and every time i get home, im just so tired that i fell asleep right away.

Wednesday: (food and drinks galore)

Lalie and i had lunch at Recipes, Greenbelt 3. i gave her the Feb issue of Cosmopolitan magazine which i receive monthly from work. Recipes is one of my favorite restos because the ambiance is nice, food is great and it is cheap. i ordered my favorite grilled pork while Lalie ordered a lot, including their gising gising.

after lunch i attended a meeting with my boss and some executive from the media industry at Bubba Gump. i ordered my favorite sparkled lemonad and platter sampler for everyone. and i find it amazing and irritating at the same time on how you’ll call for the waiter. tsk!

After the meeting i hurried back to the office to get my stuff and meet up with Ned to attend some exhibit at Mag:net gallery at the Columns. I tagged lalie along. I’m not a fan of paintings or whatsoever but i really felt bad and disappointed with the exhibit. so we just indulged the cocktails and finger foods from Earle’s

Mag:net Gallery, The Columns

tip: if you dont have money for food, just go to any gallery/exhibit opening. they serve food for free!

after going to the gallery, we had dinner at Little Tokyo. It’s like seaside wherein may restaurants are merged into one place. this place is just minutes away from my makati apartment, but because me and my housemates felt like something fishy is going on inside, like those Korean restos in Burgos st., we never dared to dine in there. surprisingly, it is an authentic Japanese hub serving authentic Japanese food. we ordered miso ramen, sashimi, tempura, maki. geesh im sooo full.i love this paved entrance

ater dinner, lalie and i went straight to Distillery in Jupiter St., to meet up with our other friends, and i got really really drunk because of those Jack Daniels and Absolut Ruby Red.

never trust this drink

i still love citron and apeach more

Thursday:  (tech savvy/careless)

the next day after the booze, i realized that i lost my LG GB30 from Sun cellular. im trying to remember how it happened and gave up thinking about it just that. if its meant for me, it will come back, if not then get a replacement. sigh! i’ll just buy a cheap phone next week since i got my sim back.

lost phone. huhu

and then, my boss and i were betting if my company issued laptop will come that day. i told him that if it comes, i’ll treat him to lunch at Oody’s. come afternoon, i received my HP EliteBook 6930p. It was so elegant and includes so many features like thumbmark logging in system. according to reviews, the battery could last up to 8 hours, and that’s what i really need!

my new baby

Friday: (music night)

after a looong day with sooo many meetings, my college bestfriend asked me to join her and her friends to go to Music Match at Macapagal ave., At this point of life, i really don’t care if other people will like me or not. i just want to have fun. so even if i felt like it was an intimate night to send my friend and the others who resigned from their company, i still joined them. hahaha. we stayed for 3 hours in that 20pax room and sang like there’s no tomorrow. we paid 5k for that 3 hours, so we better make the most out of it.

i wish i have the talent!!!

we went to gilligan’s at MOA right after to have heart to heart sharings and whatever. haaay. well, this night only happened to get a taste of john’s newly bought cx9…hahaha

i love this car. walang wala ang sportivo.

i was given two tickets by Net25 to a gala night of the Philharmonic orchestra at the Philamlife Theater but opted not to come because i don’t have time to change to formal clothes and it’s kinda far.

I’m not a shrimp fan.tsk!

last friday, lexi went to makati all the way from Manila to have dinner with me and royce. or maybe she just wanted to have a break from med school. she suggested a GG themed dinner but come on, she’s wearing jeans! anyways, we decided to dine at Bubba Gump in GB3 while doing all our chica plans for that vanity shoot and updating each other about every aspect of our lives.

Lex and i were fans of the movie. Royce didnt catch it all. Their strawberry lemonade (it’s not the exact name) is soooo damn good! Also the grilled shrimp salad, and ping pong chicken. i dont really like our main course. it’s like shrimps with cream sauce…i don’t know. i’m just not a fan of “shelled” seafoods…hehehe…:)
